25 September 2017

In a news item published on 31 August 2017 Macfarlane Packaging announced the results of the second unboxing survey in the UK. The survey reveals significant developments in online retailers’ use of packaging. However it also shows that there is still room for improvement as far as customer experience is concerned; 21% of respondents say their packages arrived ripped, damp, dented or opened.
In the NVC E-commerce Home Delivery Packaging Survey 2017, mystery shoppers have been buying packaged products from four major international online retailers. Results of the study will be presented on 28 November 2017 at the 1st International Conference on Web Retail Packaging.
