NL HR Trends 2017 Lifelong Learning is becoming mindset
Together, NIDAP and Springest identified the HRD Trends of 2017. More than 3,940 professionals in the Netherlands were surveyed. 77% of the professionals have the opinion that it is their own responsibility to keep on studying. Lifelong Learning is becoming a real mindset.
E-Learning and Blended Learning have by now become the market standard; 60% of professionals have experience with these types of education. The manager holds a lot of power over the choice of education. The personal learning budget is very effective. However, too much attention is paid to the value of a diploma instead of the contribution education can deliver to a career (News Item Springest, 2 March 2017).
