3rd Annual European Conference on the Future of Business Education in Packaging

Join us on 20 April 2017 in Sheraton Düsseldorf

The 3rd European Conference on the Future of Business Education in Packaging (FBEP, 20 April 2017) addresses the packaging skills, knowledge and know-how required for tomorrow’s workforce.
  • How do we ensure that the skills, knowledge and know-how will be available and up-to-date?
  • How do we define the appropriate job qualifications?
  • How does industry nurture the talents within the organisation and how do we implement the life-long education and training of the ageing knowledge workers after completion of their primary education in their 20s up to their retirement in their 60s?

The latest insights will be shared in the unique keynote lecture Configurations of Employer-provided Training: There is no one best way in doing it by Prof. Dr. Bernd Käpplinger from the University Chair on Life-Long Education ('Weiterbildung') at the Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen, Germany.

Live Online Training is rapidly increasing as it offers many unforeseen possibilities for international business to implement Life Long Learning in packaging more effectively and efficiently. The future of Live Online Training takes center stage at the Panel debate and the Round Table Discussions.

Come join the conference as well and meet Prof. Käpplinger and representatives from companies including Intersnack Group, L'Oréal, GoodHabitz, NVC Education, DLG Academy and Obalovy Institut SYBA.

Programme

This one-day conference connects industry to education and training institutes and provides a concise view on how to maintain an agile, capable workforce (20-70 years of age) in the field of packaging to the benefit of industry, education institutes and society as a whole. The first conference took place in 2015 and resulted in an excellent overview of the education, training and coaching challenges ahead.

FBEP2017 will address the critical areas for success, provide a unique platform to exchange insights and will show the latest developments in reliable examination, online learning and effective human resources development in business. The programme consists of plenary lectures in the morning and a range of interactive joined workshops in the afternoon. If you have any suggestions to contribute to the programme, contact Michael Nieuwesteeg.

The language used is (‘packaging’) English.
