Packaging design in NL, South-Korea and Japan compared

03 September 2018

A report by industrial design students association S.G. Daedalus from University Twente addresses and compares key elements of contemporary packaging design in Japan, South-Korea and the Netherlands. The report has been published as a result of the Daedalus Study Tour named Ukiro that took place May-June 2018 with 29 students. Addressed were the functionality and usage of packaging, the attractiveness and visuals of the packaging, the regulations of the packaging and the way that products are presented on the shelves. NVC supports S.G. Daedalus and the NVC Chair Packaging Design and Management at University Twente. The findings will also be referenced by NVC at the TOKYOPACK 2018.
