NL: Update specific regulations carriage of dangerous goods

24 May 2017

The regulations that apply for the carriage of dangerous goods in the Netherlands by road and water can be found in the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Act (WVGS). Specific (technical) requirements for each type of transport are laid down in the regulations based on this act.
The regulations have been adapted based on the changes in the international regulations for the transport of dangerous goods: the ADR for carriage by road, the RID for the carriage by rail, and the ADN for the carriage by ship. The Dutch translations of these international treaties are available on the website of the Government of the Netherlands (Website Government of the Netherlands, 2 May 2017).
