NL project: More sustainable and healthier food choices

25 January 2018

How do consumers choose the food they buy and eat? And how can businesses help consumers to make healthier and more sustainable choices while at the same time creating added value and social impact for their business? Earlier RIVM research indicates that nine out of ten people in the Netherlands do not eat enough fruit and vegetables. A consortium of 19 partners consisting of institutes, businesses and non-profit organisations has set up the public-private partnership Food Value Impact (FVI). Within FVI, research is set up to investigate which interventions actually entice consumers to make healthier and/or more sustainable food choices (Press Release WUR, 12 January 2018).
