Ex-Ante evaluation NL National Circular Economy Programme

04 September 2017

The Dutch National Circular Economy Programme contains strategic goals for priority areas such as Biomass and Food, Plastic, Manufacturing industry, Construction and Consumer Goods. that are focused on reducing the use of raw materials.
These are articulated  further in the National Raw Materials Agreement. Part of this agreement is the decision to advance the transition to a circular economy by formulating a transition agenda for each priority area.
This ex-ante evaluation of TNO gives a first answer to an important question: to what extent the (intermediate) goal of 50% reduction in primary raw material demand in 2030 can be supported based on the formulated goals.
