Changes in IATA DGR 2018 published

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has published a list with the planned important changes in the 59th edition of its Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). These regulations will come of force on 1 January 2018. The changes concern the outer packaging and the packaging instructions for lithium batteries and a recommendation for the minimal font size of the UN number of lithium batteries.
The new edition will also contain an Appendix I that contains details of the changes that are expected for the 2019 edition. Users of the Dangerous Goods Regulations are invited to give their feedback on this document (Gevaarlijke Lading, 19 September 2017).
