Production of aerosols in Netherlands increased by 3% in 2017

The Dutch Aerosol Association (NAV) has recently published its annual report of 2017. In this report you can read about the production of aerosols in the Netherlands and Europe and the sales volumes through the regular consumer channels. In 2017, the total production of aerosols in the Netherlands increased with about 3% compared to 2016. The main growth came from the categories lacquers and paints (14%) and cosmetics (20%). Other categories are also showing growth, between 5% and 10%. 70% of aerosols were made of tin plate and 30% of aluminium, as was also the case in 2016. The Netherlands remains an export country with 86% of the aerosol production destined for export.
