NL: Little attention for sustainable employability flexi-workers

05 June 2018

What is the status of sustainable employability in the Netherlands? The flexi-workers come of particularly badly, according to the Dutch National Research Sustainable employability. 32% of employers feels responsible for the sustainable employability of temporary workers and seconded employees.
Customers of self-employed persons and freelancers care even less: only 26% feel responsible for this matter. Employers that do count the sustainable employability of flexi-workers as their responsibility do not always actually take adequate measures. 52% does nothing at all, 16% does take measures for flexi-workers and seconded employees (News Item PW, 25 April 2018).
