31 January 2018

The 29th edition of packaging innovation contest De Gouden Noot will be chaired by Renee Wever, Professor of Industrial Design Engineering at Linköping University (Sweden). He succeeds prof. Onno Omta, who retired in 2017 after chairing the contest for 8 consecutive editions. Prof. Wever has a PhD degree at Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) and combines an acclaimed scientific career in design with a deep interest in packaging.
Founded in 1958, De Gouden Noot is the world’s most competitive packaging innovation contest. The name (‘golden walnut’) reflects the unique winner’s trophy with a solid gold walnut inside as symbol for the world’s best in holistic packaging innovation.
