KIDV-model Five perspectives on sustainable packaging

27 February 2018

The Netherlands Institute for Sustainable Packaging (KIDV) has created a model, which describes how businesses can make each product-packaging-combination more sustainable step by step. The model offers businesses the opportunity to zoom in on matters that are important to them from different angles.
There is a lot more to making packaging more sustainable than using less or different materials. Even though that is an important step in the process, it is preceded by other questions. These also touch upon the policy and strategy of the business, as well as the behaviour of consumers and include all the connected packaging aspects in between (News Item KIDV, 12 February 2018).
