FR: New strategy to reduce endocrine disrupting chemicals

27 February 2018

Following the publication of a government report last week on endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), like bisphenol A, the French Minister for an Ecological and Inclusive Transition, Nicolas Hulot, said that he and other ministers are convening a working group this month to develop a national strategy to reduce the use of endocrine disrupting chemicals. The draft strategy is expect to be unveiled before the end of this summer.
Hulot also noted that the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) received a 2 million euro budget increase for this year to conduct research on EDCs (State Recycling Laws Update, 12 February 2018).
