NL: First report ILT-wide risk assessment

28 September 2017

Minister Schultz van Haegen has sent a report to the House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer) with a first version of the methodology for a risk assessment for the Dutch Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT).
The ultimate goal is to use the limited capacity of the ILT for the matters that are connected with the largest social risks.
The report contains a technical representation of the factual risks in areas where ILT has a responsibility and contains for instance texts about ‘Products that don’t comply with label specifications or missing label’ and ‘Incidents caused by incorrectly marked and/or packed dangerous substances’ (Gevaarlijke Lading, 23 August 2017).
