Global e-learning market to exceed $126 billion by 2020

In a new report Technavio's analysts forecast the global e-learning market, to grow at a CAGR of around 18% between 2016 and 2020. North America is the largest market, covering around 55% of the overall market share. The availability of a well-established IT infrastructure in this region helps organizations to implement technologically advanced teaching methodologies in educational institutions and learning management systems.
One of the interesting trends gaining momentum in this market is the increased adoption of hybrid learning or blended-learning, where the trainers share their resources and instructions online (Press Release Technavio, 28 January 2016).
