NL: NTA on food safety for transport and storage published

26 January 2017

In the past half year a group of international stakeholders have worked together on a new document for food safety. NTA 8059 specifies requirements for establishing, implementing and maintaining prerequisite programmes (PRPs), specifically for transport and storage in the food chain, to assist in controlling food safety hazards.
Over 100 international stakeholders gave feedback on the first concept of the NTA (Dutch Technical Agreement) during a public consultation round in October and November 2016. The document NTA 8059:2016 'Prerequisite programmes on food safety for transport and storage' is available for free on the NEN website (News item NEN, 4 January 2017).
