NL: Sustainability Agenda for Packaging 2016
On 16 December 2015 the Netherlands Knowledge Institute Sustainable Packaging (KIDV) published the fourth version of its Sustainability Agenda for Packaging. The agenda gives the plans and activities of the KIDV for 2015-2022. The agenda is updated annually and published as such on the KIDV website.
One of the main subjects for 2016 is plastic packaging waste. The increasing collection of this waste leads to high costs and a number of projects on this subject will be performed. In 2015 a number of branches made branch sustainability plans for packaging. These include highest achievable goals for 2018. In 2016 the KIDV will measure the sustainability achievements (News Item KIDV).
