NL: Children present their ideas at Kids Climate Conference

27 October 2016

In September 2016, the fourth edition of the Kids Climate Conference (KCC) took place. There were various workshops and a dialogue led by Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands on behalf of the Missing Chapter Foundation. Afterwards, the young participants (8-14 years old) presented their ideas for saving as much energy as possible. A jury chose the 14 most creative and useful solutions.
Among the selected solutions were developing a set of games to teach children how to recycle plastic, and reuse of packaging to save money and processing costs. The solutions will be handed to various governmental institutions in the Netherlands and Belgium (News Item KCC).
