NL: HRD Trends 2016: More internal and online learning

Learning needs to become more accessible to employees. This is shown by the annual HRD Trends research performed by NIDAP together with Springest. The 185 HR Managers that were interviewed mainly focus on e-learning, better digital access to learning, and more communication about the available education. 83% wants to make learning more accessible to employees. An equally large part says to actively strive for long-lasting availability. Continuous learning is becoming more important, because of technological developments or automation, changing rules and regulations, rapidly changing markets, more independence in organisations, and ageing of the workforce (News item Springest, 11 July 2016).
