NL: GS1 - Correct product data essential in supply chain

01 March 2016

In the past years suppliers have worked hard to enter product data in the GS1 Data Source to make them available to retailers. However, it turns out that in many cases this has been done incorrectly and incompletely. That is not only the case for product labelling, but also for logistic information, like pack size. By striving for 100% correct product date the processes in the supply chain can be improved.
Together with a number of parties GS1 Netherlands has in the past few months developed the programme DatakwaliTijd 2.0 (Dataquality 2.0) to make sure the product data will be entered correctly, completely and reliably in GS1 Data Source (Press Release GS1, 16 February 2016).
