NL: 4th industrial revolution will result in job losses in logistics

The 2016 edition of the annual Erasmus Competition and Innovation Monitor has been presented. The results of the study show which sectors and regions in the Netherlands are seeing the greatest level of innovation and also how this is affecting the employment rate.
The main findings include: 1. Dutch companies have achieved a record level of radical innovations; 2. The fourth industrial revolution will result in a loss of jobs in financial services and logistics; 3. Life-sciences and health-care companies and high-tech companies excel at both technological and social innovation; logistics companies are increasingly focusing on innovation (News Item Erasmus University, 24 November 2016).
