NL: Packaging Waste Management Contribution same in 2017

24 August 2016

In the July newsletter, the Packaging Waste Fund (Afvalfonds) announced that the Packaging Waste Management Contribution (PWMC) that companies pay will remain the same in 2017.
The Packaging Waste Management Contribution (PWMC) covers the costs of implementing the Packaging Agreement, and consists of two components. One component consists of the main costs by material type for collection and processing, and for acquiring a guarantee from recycling companies that they will use the collected materials. The other component consists of the system costs: the prevention of litter, monitoring and organisational costs (Newsletter Packaging Waste Fund, July 2016).

With NVC MERGE (Members-only Environmental Regulations Guide) you can stay up-to-date with the environmental requirements for your packaging. MERGE is exclusively for NVC members and there are no costs involved.
