KIDV publishes fact sheet on BPA

19 December 2017

Bisphenol A (BPA) is used in food packaging made of hard plastics and in coatings. The Netherlands Institute for Sustainable Packaging (KIDV) receives questions about this substance on a regular basis. To answer these questions correctly, guide professionals to the right information and to supply them with basic knowledge, they published a fact sheet about this substance.
In this fact sheet, you can find information about the substance Bisphenol A (BPA) in food contact materials, including packaging. The fact sheet discusses the various uses of BPA and the regulations concerning BPA (News item Netherlands Institute for Sustainable Packaging, 23 November 2017).
