Driving customer loyalty in Web Retail Packaging

Dotcom Distribution has published a research report on e-commerce packaging (Driving Customer Loyalty With Fast Delivery and Quality Packaging). The survey addressed more than 500 online shoppers to discover how the entire delivery process — from the speed of delivery to the quality of packaging — impacts customer lifetime value.
The online customer wants fast delivery and expects complete transparency throughout the journey. A brand or retailer that offers premium packaging might benefit; forty percent of shoppers say they would be somewhat more likely or much more likely to purchase from a retailer again if they ordered a package online and it came in a gift-like or premium package.
