FNLI toolkit for risks of presence mineral oils

03 July 2017

To further improve the control over food safety, the Dutch Food Industry Federation (FNLI) has launched a toolkit that helps businesses to determine where in the supply chain and production process the biggest risks lie for the presence of mineral oils. The identification of these risks makes it possible to take specific actions to improve the production of food products.
With the toolkit, FNLI stimulates supply chain responsibility to guarantee the safety of food as best as possible. The use of classifications makes it possible to assess where the biggest risks can be found; from primary production to processing to packaging the end product (News item FNLI, 17 May 2017).
