9 tips for the ideal e-commerce checkout

The checkout, the process in which the consumer pays for the items bought, is part of the consumer experience of e-commerce. During this process several logistic characteristics and options, that also influence the packaging, are selected by the consumer.
A blog post of logistic service provider Paazl describes nine ingredients (best practices) for creating the ideal checkout for the consumer. Among these ingredients are: address validation with manual overwrite, default selection of the cheapest delivery option, choice of multiple delivery days, choice of multiple delivery times, same day delivery option, influence on delivery at neighbours, pick up point options.
