Government Advisory Report: towards a working and learning economy

25 March 2014

The connection between education and the job market must be improved, according to a report by the Netherlands Government Advisory Council. This not only holds for the first job in the career, but is even more important for employees who have already been working for a longer period of time. A longer education-less working period is proven to be an early indicator for a subsequent job loss. Life-long learning via ‘post-initial’ education and training should be the starting point of the government policy.
NVC supports initial higher education via the NVC Chair Packaging Design and management at Twente University. NVC provides post-initial education and training programmes in packaging.
