Trends in packaging design and technology: the European Packaging Summit
This two-day conference, organised by WTG, took place January 27-28th, 2014 in Berlin. NVC is member of the Advisory Board. The delegates explored innovative packaging strategies to reduce costs, had access to the latest developments in packaging materials and learned more about creative ideas proven to grow brands through packaging design. Over 200 delegates participated in 30 lectures on packaging design strategies, e-commerce and packaging, sustainable development, novel technologies, biocomposites, theft and fraud, etc. NVC also hosted a debate on online retail packaging (“How e-commerce will change the way products are packaged”) starting with a presentation of the NVC vision.
