NL: Material organisations join forces in foundation StiMo

The five large material organisations in the Netherlands (NRK Packaging, PRN, SDV, SKB and SKLH) have joined forces in the Foundation Material Organisations (Stichting Materiaalorganisaties StiMo). This umbrella organisation lays the foundation for enhanced cooperation between the material organisations in the field of packaging.
The Packaging Waste Fund (Afvalfonds Verpakkingen StAV) was established by producers and importers to collectively meet the extended producer responsibilities as stated in the Packaging Decree and Packaging Agreement. Together the material organisations are represented in the board (News Item Dutch Federation of Rubber and Plastics Industry NRK, 24 September 2014).
