28 April 2014

Since March 2014 the Food Price Monitor (Voedselprijzenmonitor) provides a two monthly insight in the development of prices throughout the (Dutch) food supply chain. The monitor shows the increases and decreases in price levels for farmers, producers as well as consumers. LEI Wageningen UR is providing the data on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and will give a two monthly update at their website agrimatie.nl.
Product categories covered are wheat products, potato products, dairy, eggs, chicken meat, pork and beef. For fruit and vegetables only the consumer prices are given. The data are based on indices of raw materials, producer prices and consumer prices.
