Packaging as source of efficient and sustainable advantages in supply chain management - an analysis of milk cartons

23 January 2014

In a competitive and global world, companies should face supply chain design from a sustainable and efficient perspective. Researchers at the Universidad de Vigo in Spain conceptualized the integration of logistics and packaging design in the term «packaging logistics», particularly emphasizing its operational and organizational impact on supply chain performance. An article about the research is published in the International Journal of Production Management and Engineering.
