Venting cap-neck combination suitable for sterile processing

21 November 2016

As part of his master assignment, Wesley Roodink will hold a speech on 8 December 2016 entitled: The development of a venting cap-neck combination suitable for sterile processing.
In his thesis, he defines a structural approach for developing a venting cap-neck combination that will prevent leaking and bloated packaging. Central to this approach is the study on the effect of gamma irradiation on the packaging. Three different scenarios were defined in which packaging design assures performance, acts as beneficial contributor or stimulates innovation. The outcome supports Ecolab to define a direction for future packaging development (Website University of Twente, November 2016).
