Ten potential SVHCs have been included in the Registry of Intentions

05 September 2014

Ten potential SVHCs have been included on 4 August 2014 in the Registry of Intentions, meaning that Member States have submitted a dossier for each substance to propose it for identification as an SVHC. The aim of the public Registry of Intentions (RoI) is to make interested parties aware of the substances for which a CLH, SVHC or restriction dossier is intended to be submitted.
Among these ten potential SVHC’s are four phthalates (Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, Dibutyl phthalate, Diisobutyl phthalate and Benzyl butyl phthalate) which have been submitted in the category of Endocrine Disruptors (ED), as well as two PBT and four CMR substances (ECHA e-News, 20 August 2014).
