NVC stimulates worldwide packaging standardisation in Seoul

31 May 2016

In May 2016, our NVC manager Knowledge Development and Projects Ger Standhardt participated in the plenary worldwide meeting of ISO TC122, the organisation that develops the worldwide standards in the field of packaging. In the past NVC has already contributed to the standards concerning RFID, accessible design, food safety, pharmaceutical packaging and environment. New subjects are the circular economy, identification, e-commerce, and new materials. Several working group meetings were hosted in combination with the plenary meeting. NVC took part in the discussions about draft standards about Accessible Packaging Design – Information and Marking, and Manipulation and Handling.
Please get in touch with Ger Standhardt if you would like to discuss the results of these meetings as an NVC member.
