NL: Update of Packaging and Utensils Regulation

Because of the addition of substances to part A of the appendix, and a number of technical changes, the Dutch Packaging and Utensils Regulation (Warenwetregeling verpakkingen en gebruiksartikelen) was changed by Regulation 1028394-156011-VGP of 26 October 2016. Between 2013 and 2015, businesses have issued requests to add substances to Appendix A of the Packaging and Utensils Regulation. After risk assessment by commission G4 of the RIVM, a number of substances is now authorised. The design of the updated regulation has been notified to the European Commission, because it is a national measure for the implementation of Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 (Newsletter Waar & Wet, 8 November 2016).
