NL: Rabobank report on machines in food industry

30 August 2016

On 6 July the GMV topical meeting on ‘New business models for machine building, flexible and service oriented’ took place at Robert Bosch Packaging Technology B.V. in Weert, the Netherlands.
In one of the presentations, a number of results from Rabobank trend research were presented. In the fast changing food industry, the factors Customers, Competition, and Technology have the largest impact on the future of the Dutch food industry. Customers are becoming more professional, competition from other countries is growing stronger, and the technology is changing faster and faster. The business model Pay-for-production could be a business model for certain businesses and sectors.
