NL: Overview of obligations according to new labelling law

23 December 2014

The pages on the website of the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) about labelling of food have been updated and now give an overview of the obligations for producers set by European Regulation 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers that all products packed after 13 December 2014 have to comply with.
There is a page with information about the role and priorities the NVWA has when enforcing the regulation on food labelling. On the main page there is an overview of important information for consumers, and an overview of the obligations for companies that produce or import food products (NVWA website, December 2014).
