ISO asks input food industry for ISO 22000

05 June 2014

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) asks everyone with an interest in the food industry to give input for a change of the ISO 22000 standard. The new standard will be changed in September of this year. This way the standard, in the field of food safety management systems, will be made completely up to date again.
ISO calls on everyone with an interest in the food industry to send suggestions for improvement to the ISO organisation of their respective countries.
The committee behind ISO 22000, ISO/TC 34/SC 17 will analyse as much feedback as possible until half June, before the review process starts in September (VMT, 7 May 2014).
