29 October 2014

On September 25, 2014, the French Ministry of Ecology, Durable Development and Energy published a draft five-year (2014-2018) Environmental Health Plan and opened a public consultation. The new plan outlines government activities to address a range of environmental concerns including environmental allergens, endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), nanomaterials and others.
In regard to EDCs, the primary activity over the next five years will be to implement the National Strategy on Endocrine Disruptors. The public consultation closed on October 17, and the Ministry expects the new plan to be approved in early December (Recycling Laws International, 26 September 2014).
