DHL has published a white paper (15.4 MB) entitled "Revisiting Pandemic Resilience", which takes one step back and sheds light into what the logistic sector has learned from the race against COVID-19.

Amazon European innovation lab
Amazon Operations has unveiled its European Operations Innovation Lab, designed to enhance the employee experience through the development of advanced technologies that support safer ways of working. Based in Vercelli, Northern Italy, the Lab focuses on testing and developing future technologies to help enhance safety in its facilities in Europe while also supporting employees in their daily work. The new support technologies include item sorters, pallet movers, tote retrievers, automated guided vehicles and robot sorters.
Collaborating to create the future factory for food and beverage manufacturers
In a recent report, Siemens calls for a cultural shift in collaboration between food and drink manufacturers and machine builders to create a future factory. The research paper is based on a quantitative and qualitative survey featuring interviews with 25 of the UK’s leading food and beverage manufacturers, along with the machine builders who provide them with the technology for production and packaging. OEE of the craft beer industry
OFS has published their Craft Brewers Benchmark Report in which they analysed the production of millions of litres of beer by breweries in an effort to determine key performance benchmark data. It shows how data can be used to improve packaging line efficiency and make an impact on a brewer’s bottom line. The data shows that while craft brewers fare well in terms of speed and waste reduction, the industry average for actual time producing across the production line was just over 50%.
