Trends in standardisation for transport, logistics, packaging
Current trends in standardisation for transport, logistics and packaging as well as the 2015 policy from a Dutch, European and global perspective were discussed in the Annual Policy Committee meeting at NEN Netherlands Standardisation Institute on Dec. 9th, 2014. Topics include cranes, lifts, containers, ships, railway applications, pallets, road vehicles, machines, waste management, environment, logistic services, safety and many more. Chairman of the Committee is NVC managing director Michael Nieuwesteeg and results on actual standards development in packaging are published in the NVC-NEN three-monthly World Packaging Standardisation Newsletter WPSN.
