From 1 July new regulations for transport of dangerous goods

01 July 2015

In the build-up to the new regulations and their enforcement the Dutch Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) has noticed that the new and old ADR rules are mixed up.
The period of transition for the transport of dangerous goods in small packagings (limited quantities, LQ) ended on 30 June 2015. Since 30 June the transport of dangerous goods has to comply with the ADR 2015. One of the consequences is that only the new LQ label should be used and that everyone that handles the LQ products should be educated to do so. The Dutch Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate will enforce the amended requirements from 1 July 2015 (EVO News, 9 June 2015).
