Pasteur Sensor Tag wins Food Valley Award 2013

30 October 2013

The Pasteur Sensor Tag, developed by an international consortium from the high-tech and agrifood sector, is the winner of the Food Valley Award 2013. The award was presented during the Food Valley Expo that took place on Thursday 24 October 2013 in Arnhem, the Netherlands. From July 2009 until September 2012 a consortium of companies and universities from the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Spain developed a “sensor enabled RFID tag”. This technology provides you with a quick, cheap and efficient way to monitor the environmental conditions in the supply chain. At the end of the project the NVC published the NVC World Review on Supply Chain Applications of RFID and Sensors in Packaging.
