Online-consumer irritations related to packaging

05 January 2015

A survey with 1,000 consumers by One Poll Market Research for MacFarlane Packaging in the UK, reveals that 21% of respondents are irritated by having to pick up parcels or rearrange delivery because inappropriately sized packaging have been used that are too large for the letterbox. This is listed by over a fifth of respondents as the most annoying aspect of online shopping making this issue the biggest single source of annoyance for online shoppers.
Research by Which? In the UK meanwhile shows that one in four people have had a problem with a delivery in the past twelve months. Around 11% of online customers complained about getting goods that are damaged.
