NVC vision on circular economy and packaging Europe
The European Commission is aiming to present a circular economy strategy, to transform Europe into a more competitive resource-efficient economy, addressing i.a. the packaging and the waste sector. The Commission is engaged in a reflection on how the objective of circular economy can be reached in an efficient way that is fully compatible with the jobs and growth agenda. The Commission welcomes contributions from organisations like our association. All received contributions will be published on the internet.
On August 18th, 2015 NVC supplied its input for this Public Consultation, addressing the application of the circular economy concept in the field of packaging.
