NL: Progress report of the program ‘From Waste to Raw Materials’

01 May 2015

On April 15 state secretary Mansveld sent the Dutch House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer) a report on the progress of the program ‘From Waste to Raw Materials’. In this report the goals and the main results so far are discussed and the main challenges for the coming years are given.
In Appendix 1 she states, among other things, that the expectation is that in 2015 80% of the branch sustainability plans including the highest achievable goals will have been established by the Dutch Knowledge Institute on Sustainable Packaging (KIDV). These goals can then become part of the policy. The aim is to have the ministerial decree that will make this possible come into force on 1-1-2016.
