NL Gov. meeting: banning free plastic bags and more

On 17 December 2015 the House Committee on Infrastructure and Environment held a debate about the circular economy. One of the subjects was the ban on free plastic bags starting on 1 January 2016 and how this will be enforced. On 9 December state secretary Dijksma sent a letters to the Dutch House containing answers to questions posed by Member of Parliament Dijkstra about the ban.
She sent another letter on 14 December in which she gives reactions to the commitments made in the June meeting. These include an update on the sustainability plans for the different industry groups. On 15 December plans were published for the wine industry and the cosmetics and soap industry.
