New report forecasts sales in global personal care packaging to reach €21 billion by 2018

The global personal care market is projected to be worth €307 billion in 2012 and is forecast to grow during the period 2013-18 at a CAGR of 4.9%, according to a new market report by SmithersPira (The Future of Personal Care Packaging to 2018).
The value of packaging purchased is nearly 7% of this value and reaches €21 billion. The study analyses the global market for personal care packaging, including cosmetics and toiletries and provides data on personal care packaging markets by world region, including market value forecasts through to 2018 for 13 major countries. Rigid plastic is the most used material for packaging personal care products.
