Dutch Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) intensifies supervision chemical and contagious hospital waste

In 2013 the Dutch Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) has intensified the supervision of the transport of chemical and contagious hospital waste. This was done because in 2012 35 hospitals did not sufficiently comply with all the rules. During the inspection in 2013 the ILT found that most of the companies had taken measures and that compliance has improved (News Item ILT, 4 September 2013).
