European market for corrugated, solid and cartonboard

A new Ceresana study examines the European market for corrugated board, solid board and cartonboard. The European demand for this market is expected to rise to a total of about 38.7 million tonnes by 2021.
The unique properties of corrugated board ensure that this material is perfectly suited for shipping packaging. The turnover of e-commerce is rising in many European countries by more than 15% every year and this will stimulate the demand for shipping packaging. Solid board and cartonboard folding boxes can also profit from this growing market. It is decisive for presenting a product online that it can be illustrated authentically, rich in contrast, clearly arranged and visually appealing.
